Clothes wash method

1. A simple and easy way to keep colorful clothes bright after washing is to use laundry detergent with fluorescent whitening agents. Because the fluorescent whitening agent contained in this laundry detergent is actually a fluorescent dye that dissolves in water; It will be adsorbed by the fibers of the clothing and will not be immediately washed away, and can convert the invisible ultraviolet part of the light into visible light.

The wavelength of visible light is generally 400-800 angstroms, while the wavelength of ultraviolet light is 300-400 angstroms. When fluorescent dyes absorb ultraviolet light, they can transform into purple, blue, and blue light with wavelengths ranging from 400 to 500 angstroms.

Therefore, after washing clothes with laundry detergent containing such substances, the whiteness of the laundry can be increased. Due to the fact that fluorescent brighteners can increase the whiteness and brightness of the laundry, even colorful clothes will appear even more dazzling after washing due to the complementary effect of ultraviolet light converting into visible light.

2. Washing of shirts

Before washing the shirt, first apply the collar of the shirt to the entire folded area of the collar, brush with water with a toothbrush a few times to remove the stains, and then put it into the washing machine and wash with laundry detergent. This method can also be used if the cuffs are dirty. After the next pass of water, do not dehydrate. Take out the wet shirt directly, use both hands to push the sleeves and collar of the clothes straight and flat. Fold the clothes along the two ends of the collar according to the original crease, and fold the entire section in the opposite position. Level the collar tip to ensure that the collar shape is symmetrical. Hang the wet shirt on a hanger and drain the water. This can reduce wrinkles on the shirt body, ensure that the collar is not blistered, the collar tip is not inverted, and keep the collar clean and straight.

3. Washing of wool and woolen clothing

Before washing, dust should be removed and soaked in cold water for 15-20 minutes. After removing and squeezing, neutral detergent solution, laundry detergent solution, or weakly alkaline detergent solution (such as soapy water solution) should be used, which has strong detergency, a soft and shiny feel after washing, and is easy to rinse. Gently rub and wash the clothes in it to prevent damage, and then rinse them with clean water.

To maintain the brightness of the color, 2% vinegar or vinegar can be added to the water to neutralize residual soap. After washing, squeeze out the water and put it into a mesh bag. Hang it in a well ventilated place to dry. When it is 80% dry, take it out and lay it flat on the table before hanging it up and drying.

In fact, in order to prevent the yarn from being twisted, curled up, and the deformation or damage of the woolen pants, it is necessary to put the yarn and woolen pants into a gauze bag for weak washing. The washing time should not be too long, and the water temperature should not be too hot. When drying, in order to prevent clothes from sagging, they can be spread flat on the table to dry naturally, or the woolen clothes can be folded and placed in a clean mesh bag to dry.

4. Washing of Silk Clothes

The characteristic of silk clothing is its softness and smoothness. It is easy to float and sink in the washing solution, and is entangled by the wave wheel at the bottom of the washing cylinder, which affects the normal rotation of the wave wheel. In severe cases, it can be damaged.

Therefore, silk clothing should be washed in slightly larger gauze bags. To make the washed silk clothes shiny and bright, a small amount of vinegar can be added to the washing solution. When washing, it is advisable to use lukewarm water and use "weak washing", and the washing time should not be too long.

5. Some clothing made of fiber materials may wrinkle if only washed and dried. Pressing it with an iron can remove the wrinkles on the clothes. And some fiber clothing is made of non ironing material, even if not ironed, there will be no obvious wrinkles.
